The A-flat minor corridor
Openers are covered: myr's 'Machste Nix' rolls at 120 in F major and Anton Kubikov's 'Moving On' stretches 8:26 at 122, perfect for building without rushing. The real find for in-key mixing is elsewhere: Martinou's 'Allting' and Mikkel Metal's 'Rebuild' share exactly 128 BPM and A-flat minor —a seamless blend—, Hitam's 'Djedd Pillars' adds 9:26 of long-form travel on the same root, and Pfirter's 'Phase Continuum' caps it at 136 without leaving the key. Four tracks, one key: nearly half an hour of your set solved.
For the heavy stretch, the 138-143 block: Jani Ho's 'Anzac Bells' (138) and Praecox's 'Large Kimono' (143) share D major, while 'Black Sun' —the second Pfirter, the only artist to appear twice— pushes 140 on MindTrip, the label this Barcelona-based Argentinian founded in 2006 after leaving his mark on CLR and Mord.
