Closing Essentials 2026: Mainstage - Beatport

Go straight to track 23. 'Wavey', the tune Eli Brown turned into the official EDC Las Vegas 2025 anthem, appears here in the Charlie Sparks (UK) rework, part of the remix package Insomniac Records put out in December alongside versions by Linska, Turno and Tavatli. Sparks drags it onto his own turf: 150 bpm, a five-minute-plus runtime and that blend of acid, industrial and rave that defines his signature, with punishing percussion where the original flexed rockstar bravado. In a 42-track list built for closing sets, it is the clearest signal of where mainstage is looking right now.

Track 40 doesn't ask for permission either. 'We Don't Say Please' is Drumcode's lone flag in the selection and sits in its lower tempo band: 132 bpm in G major while much of the list runs above 140. Released as DC340 within A-Sides Vol. 14, it captures Adam Beyer's current phase, crossing bass music, rap and techno over Flowdan's British vocal. That a cut like this sits next to big room and speed house without clashing says more about the state of the genre than any manifesto.

155 bpm, three names

The third vertex is 'The Ultimate Seduction', credited to The Ultimate Seduction themselves alongside Maddix and tmpl, released in December on EXTATIC Records. It sets the speed ceiling for the whole list: 155 bpm, matched only by Vespera's 'No Time In Space' and 'Acid Nation' by Mike Cervello and DJ Yasmin. In F major and running 4:41, it condenses the logic of this closing selection: tempos that until recently belonged to other stages are now the main stage's common currency.

The remaining 39 cuts orbit the same idea — Nifra signs two, Revealed places six — but these three set the coordinates: speed, grit and a mainstage that no longer hides its debt to the underground.
