The recurring problem with collections of this type is a lack of narrative cohesion, and Rave Ascension Vol. 06 does not entirely escape that trap. Even so, for the DJ hunting for fresh material or the curious listener wanting to take the pulse of several scenes simultaneously, this volume delivers with efficiency.
