Two consecutive cuts in Ab minor open 'SkyFall Summer 2026', and that choice already sets the weather: SkyTop's summer doesn't start under full sun but at dawn. Ver-dikt and Andy Dav's 'It's All Right' dispatches its organic house in five minutes flat, while I. D. O.'s 'Afterphase' stretches the same half-light across 8:45, the longest track on the disc. Only when HUNTER (RU) shifts to Gb major on 'Shadows' does the first light break through, confirmed by Mishanti's 'Sunday Flow' in a slow-Sunday C major.
That C turns out to be the compilation's center of gravity: five of the twelve tracks orbit that root. The two in major ('Sunday Flow' and Rentier's 'Evo') hold up the daytime stretch; the three in minor —'Reflection', 'Rotate' and the afro house remix that Mamen Ghacea, the only name appearing twice here, applies to Den Macklin's 'Hunter House'— darken the same note without moving it an inch. It's a landscape device more than a harmonic one: the record doesn't travel far, it changes the time of day over the same spot.
From F major to F minor
The ending repeats the trick in miniature. Josanu and Mari MaLe's 'Feel Your Life' marks the brightest, fastest point of the trip —F major, 125 BPM, the only indie dance cut of the lot— and from there it drops straight into Diiptrip and Bereznitsky's 'In the Arms of Spring': same root, minor mode, back down to the opening 121 BPM. Nightfall by modal substitution.
In between sits 'Tik Tak' in E minor, signed by Alexey Sonar himself — no ordinary guest, but the label's co-owner and host of the weekly SkyTop radio show, a house that turned nine in 2026. With seven organic house cuts, three progressive ones and those two detours into afro and indie dance, the tonal map fits that experience: a narrow 121-125 BPM band with almost all the emotion delegated to the keys.
