Synce Records returns with its fourth collective installment
VA – Syncers 004 cements Synce Records' identity as a label with a plural vocation, capable of bridging Nu Disco's warm retro soul, nocturnal Deep House pulses, and the most contemporary strands of Indie Dance. Six tracks, six perspectives, one common thread: groove as philosophy.
The compilation opens with RAQUEZZI and Chá de Tribulus, a 126 BPM Nu Disco cut in F Minor that radiates analogue warmth, thick basslines, and percussion evoking the downtown New York dancefloors of the eighties. PJ Sessions follows with Body, a muscular Deep House track in C Minor at 135 BPM built on layers of synthesis that tighten and release with expertly controlled tension.
Ryfer contributes Hypnotizing, an Indie Dance piece in A Major at 127 BPM where harmonic brightness clashes beautifully with oscillating textures that captivate from bar one. Richard Marty answers with Dance With Me in G Minor, a cut that balances melancholy and euphoria with uncommon skill. Fifth position belongs to TripMod and Vasconcellos with Movin Body, Deep House in E Major at 132 BPM: ascending energy, expansive bass, and a producer chemistry that permeates every element of the mix. Mau Maioli and MeMachine close with Shelter, an Indie Dance piece in Eb Major — an atmospheric finale that lowers the heart rate without losing its magnetic pull.
- Standout track: Body – PJ Sessions
- Hidden gem: Hypnotizing – Ryfer
- For closing sets: Shelter – Mau Maioli, MeMachine
Syncers 004 is a coherent, well-sequenced release that represents an underground scene still carving its own language between disco warmth and electronic cool.
