Seven tracks, one alias, and not a single remix in sight: Orbsynth signs everything on 'Integrated', and that choice alone says plenty. When nobody else steps into the room, every tempo and key decision becomes a portrait of the author, with no alibis.
The name doesn't come out of nowhere. Orbsynth has spent years orbiting Padang Records: 2021 brought 'Space Artfact' alongside Niobiun, the partnership repeated on 'Mind Echoes', and 'Hidden Code of Nature' landed on the label compilation 'Reborn: Echoes of the Forest'. Seen that way, 'Integrated' reads as the logical next step for a regular of the house: leaving the two-handers behind to carry a full-length alone, inside a catalogue shared with Vasvi, VORG and Anadrome.
From 109 to 160: one name, several pulses
What Orbsynth puts on the table is not a single speed but a whole spread. 'Overview Effect' opens at 115 BPM in D major and takes 9:09 —the longest cut on the record— to build its atmosphere unhurried; 'Cycles' rockets up to 160 BPM in E minor, the opposite extreme; and 'Capture the Base', at 109 and 6:35, is both the slowest and the shortest, a breather placed deliberately before the close. Between those poles, the block of 'New Orbit' (141), 'The Unnameable' (138) and 'The Seed' (135) is where the project sounds most recognisably psy-trance.
One more trait gives the author away: four of the seven tracks live in major keys —D, B-flat, B and C—, a luminous balance rarely heard in a genre that tends to shelter in minor mode. 'Tuning Essence', at 125 in B-flat major, sums up that melodic leaning. The final portrait is of a producer shaped by collaborations who, left alone with all seven grooves, shows every register those team-ups only hinted at.
