The BPM column of this volume reads like an EKG: it opens at 110, drops to 95, jumps to 143 and ends at 74. Look at it with a DJ's eyes, though, and the apparent chaos sorts itself out: the three cuts tagged at 72-74 —'Perception', 'Waves of Chaos' and 'Nostalgia'— are half-time readings that, doubled, land at 144-148, exactly where the heart of the record lives. The real map draws a nine-track plateau between 139 and 145, flanked by entry and decompression ramps.
The climb is staged. 'Golden Heights' and 'The Mind' open in the low zone; 'Universe Vibes' —at 143 and, at 8:41, the longest cut of the set— fires the first warning shot; 'Kaleidoscope' eases off before 'Neural Horizon', by Mystika and Regressive, starts scaling from 134. From 'Lost in Light' to 'The Secret' the record locks into 142-145 almost without letting go, with a single pressure valve: Mindbenderz's 'Visions', tagged at 117, which splits the plateau in two and keeps it from saturating. It is the smartest move in the whole sequence.
Orisma's hand
No accident: according to Bandcamp, the volume was compiled by Orisma, an in-house artist who also shows up twice inside, co-signing 'Lost in Light' with Mystika and remixing 'Silent Echo' alongside Mind Sense. The second half gives that craft away: the stretch from 'Breath In, Breath Out' to 'Imagination' holds 139-140 while climbing a semitone, from A major to B flat, before 'Nostalgia', in C minor and at half tempo, closes in full decompression with the most honest title imaginable.
UK label Yellow Sunshine Explosion has spent 58 volumes polishing this series, and this chapter shows why the formula still holds: not an inventory of peaks, but a session built in energy blocks, with climbs that are earned and descents that arrive on time.
