The start establishes the core: “Healing Wounds (Scabbed mix)” is at 136 BPM, in E minor and runs 5:35; “Reminisce” drops to 134 BPM in D-flat major; “Detached” keeps 134 BPM and moves to G-flat minor. “Rest In Pieces” returns to E minor at 134 BPM and, at 6:02, stands among the longer pieces in that block. Mord therefore presents an Electronica programme where the early variations are small in tempo but clear in key.
The middle sustains that logic through shifts of two or four BPM. “Route Maneuver” restores 136 BPM in C major, “Red Flag” reaches the 138 BPM maximum in C minor, and “Frame State” returns to 136 BPM in F minor. “Time Drop” and “Passing Through” move back to 134 BPM, in A minor and C minor respectively. The fact that C minor appears on both “Red Flag” and “Passing Through” creates a tonal link between different tempos; E minor, in turn, connects the first track with “Rest In Pieces”.
The extremes arrive later. “Anomaly” is listed at 84 BPM in E minor and is also the longest piece at 6:13. “Shadow District” sits at 100 BPM in C minor. The original version of “Healing Wounds” appears at 121 BPM, in G minor and running 4:38. These three entries do more than separate themselves from the 134–138 BPM range: they allow a comparison between the two readings of the title track. The Scabbed mix runs 5:35, is in E minor and marks 136 BPM, while the original shifts to G minor, 121 BPM and a shorter duration.
The duration architecture follows the tempo differences without using one fixed pattern. “Passing Through” is the shortest cut at 4:05; “Detached” and “Route Maneuver” sit just above four minutes, while “Anomaly” and “Rest In Pieces” pass six. The sequence needs no external information to show its design: Viclan holds every credit, Mord retains the Electronica tag, and the data separates a fast core from three clearly identified detours. It is an album that can be read through versions, repeated keys and distinct metric scales.
